A baby is a treasure
That you hold so tenderly;
Protected from the outside world
And cared for lovingly.
For through the many months
You've waited for this life to grow;
And soon in time, you'll meet the
Little one you've come to know.
He knows your voice, the little sighs,
Your tenderness and love;
He knows your warmth and caring
That you've shown him all these months.
And soon he'll venture to arrive
And share his wondrous charms;
His warm and comfy home will
Then become your loving arms.
So as you wait to pass the
Final days, so patiently;
Remember that you soon will see
The face that's now just dreams.
