Wedding Poem - By Your Side
I stand today, in testament to all that we have known,
In witness to the depth and breadth of how our love has grown;
It seems like only yesterday, we dreamed of what might be,
Yet here today, reality is smiling back at me.
I see reflected in your eyes, the yesterdays we've shared,
The vast expanse of hopes and dreams we lovingly declared;
We built upon the warmth and trust that kept us ever near,
Embracing all that came our way, which brought us to be here.
For all the tender memories I hold within my heart,
I'm grateful for the past we've known and nurtured from the start;
From this day forward, as I build my future by your side,
I'll cherish every vow we make together as our guide.
I'll trust and gently nourish all the good within each day,
To share the laughter and the tears, together come what may;
